Want to gather feedback via Synergy using Customer Radar? Follow this guide to get started. Once you have completed the set up, you can use Synergy to invite your customers to give you feedback after the job is done.
There are two easy steps. Click the instructions below for more information on each step.

Set up the feedback invitation template
1. First, you need to log in to Synergy.
2. On the Navigation Menu, click the Marketing/Reports option
3. Then, click on the TXT Template option under the Marketing > Template headers
4. Open the TXT Template window and on the pop-up click an empty row to create a new template
5. This will open the template editor. Copy in the feedback message that has been sent to you by Customer Radar. The message will look like the following but should have the bolded placeholder filled in:
Give us feedback on your recent service for vehicle **1** Go to [feedback link] it only takes a few seconds!
Notes
- In the message, the [feedback link] placeholder should be filled in with your unique link provided by Customer Radar.
- In the message, your business name will be automatically added to the start of the message.
- The **1** field does not need to be changed in the message template as this will automatically fill in the customer's licence plate number when a message is sent.
- The message can only be 119 characters.

Send the feedback invitation message
1. On the Navigation Menu, click the Marketing/Reports option
2. Under the Tasks heading, click Client Search Criteria
3. This will open the Client Search Criteria window. Click the 'Product/Category/Group/Standard Job' option
4. Under 'Select By:' click Standard Job
5. For the from and to dates, add the dates you want to send feedback invitations for jobs between. The feedback invitations will be sent to standard jobs between these two dates.
We recommend a date range that is either for the current day, for the previous day, or for Monday-Friday of the current week, depending on how frequently you are sending the feedback invitation.
6. Click Accept. This will show a list of clients who have had a standard job in the date range you entered
7. Select the specific clients you wish to message by ticking the box beside their details or you can use the Select All button at the bottom of the screen
Note: TXT Messages can only be sent to customers who have a tick in the ‘Receive TXT’ box, this reflects the setting inside the customer’s set-up screen.
8. Click the TXT button in the bottom right corner
9. This will open a window asking you to select the template. Select the feedback invitation template you created earlier
10. Next, you will see a list of all the clients who will be sent the message, giving you one last opportunity to confirm
11. Click Send and the messages will start sending to all the displayed customers, if this is a large list please be aware this could take several minutes to send.
When the sending process completes you will be shown a confirmation of the successful messages sent
🎉 You are done! Your feedback message will be sent out to customers inviting them to leave feedback for your workshop. Schedule a recurring task in your calendar so you are regularly asking customers for feedback.

FAQs
Can I change the message template after it's created?
Yes, you can follow the set up instructions again and edit the message that is sent out. Remember to save any changes!
Should I use email or a txt message?
Either is great. The feedback message is short so it fits fully into an txt message. You can also add your feedback link to other communications to gather even more feedback.
