Feedback Response Limits
Feedback response limits exist to stop customers from submitting excessive amounts of feedback. A feedback response limit is determined as part of your business's feedback programme, find out more about feedback programmes in this article: What are programmes, locations and sub-measures?
The most common feedback response limit is one feedback entry every 24 hours although there are various response limits available such as once a week or once a month. Feedback response limits are an effective defence against spam feedback comments and also discourage customers from saving up receipts and then submitting multiple pieces of feedback all at once.
How do feedback response limits work?
If a customer tries to submit feedback over the response limit using the same contact number or email address, our system automatically recognises this. The customer is unable to submit more feedback and a message "Sorry, you have passed the response limit." appears at the top of the feedback page.
Customers can find details of the response limit for your business by checking the terms and conditions that are linked on your feedback page. Once the response limit has expired, the customer is automatically able to submit feedback again.
