The Customer Radar platform supports four different user types with varying permissions on the platform. When a user is created, the creator selects the user type for that user and can also update the user's type at a later date.
There are four types of Users: Admins, Managers, Standard Users and View Only.
Admins can do everything.
Managers can access the Dashboard, manage feedback and manage users.
Standard Users can access the Dashboard and manage feedback.
View Only users can only see the Dashboard.
How to manage User Types
When creating a user, select the correct user type from the dropdown menu.
When updating a user, select the correct user type from the dropdown menu and then click 'Save'.
Why am I getting an error message?
You might be trying to edit a user who has a higher permission level than you, in this case an error message will appear saying that something has gone wrong or the changes cannot be saved.
How do I change my own user type?
Users cannot update their own user type, this must be done by another user of the same or higher user type.
