There are two different formatting options available and you can choose the option that best suits your website:
-

Feedback appears in a list form which can be scrolled from top to bottom. -
Rotating
Each piece of feedback rotates in and out in the order they were received.
Note: Restrictions of use may apply for your industry
Some industries have restrictions on the use of customer testimonials or reviews in marketing material. It is up to the client to operate within any industry guidelines and laws of the country or territory they are governed by.

Setting up your Publish Comments widget
Ask your account manager or Customer Radar support to enable the Publish Comments widget for your business (charges may apply for the use of this feature).
We'll enable the widget and send you the HTML code that you will need to embed into your website. The widget uses a simple Iframe code - this is a single line of code that can be embedded into any webpage.
The code provided looks something like this (example only do not use):
Publish comment options
There are two options which allow individual ratings and comments to be published to a specific location webpage or for all feedback to be shared to a main brand website.
-
Location widget
Each location that uses Customer Radar can have its own Comment widget which enables only their locations' customer ratings and comments to be published to their website. This is ideal for groups where each location has their own webpage or microsite.
-
Client / brand widget
All selected customer ratings and comments from any locations can be published on the client's main website.
Widget setting options
There are multiple options to customise the way the rating and comments are displayed;
- Star colour
- Star size
- Font size
- Alignment - left, center, right
- Limit - how many comments will be shown before dropping off the oldest
- Change speed - the speed at which each comment is displayed (rotating widget only)
Note: This can be updated by Customer Radar before supplying the code, or can be adjusted by the web developer after the code has been provided by updating the code values.

Frequently asked questions
What can I publish?
You can select and publish whatever comments you like. You may choose to publish all or only a selection. We do not recommend sharing feedback that identifies any individual if there is any negative context.
Note: Some industries have restrictions or guidelines on the use of customer feedback and testimonials.
Do I need permission to publish someones feedback?
Published feedback does not include the customer's name or any identifying details unless they've provided it in their comment. Generally, it is okay to publish this feedback as it doesn't include identifying information, however we recommend checking any industry and regional rules that may apply. As best practice, we recommend adding an opt-in checkbox to your feedback form. Contact Customer Radar support to add this to your feedback page.
Why is the widget saying 'Feedback display is turned off'?
This means the widget is switched off for your programme. Contact your account manager or the Customer Radar support team.
What happens if I haven't published any feedback?
When the widget is switched on for your programme but no feedback has been selected for publishing, the message There are no published comments for this client will be displayed in the widget. Follow the steps above to select and published feedback.
Can I customise the colour of the stars in the widget?
Yes, contact Customer Radar support for more information.
I've just published a comment but it's not showing on the website?
Refresh the webpage the widget is located on and your feedback should appear. If you having issues with displaying ratings and comments, contact support@customerradar.com
